Collaborations with Zan Lee DuRoy

Zan and I met recently and I asked her if she would be interested in collaborating on some artwork, she said yes! She started one canvas and I put the finishing touches while I started the other canvas and she finished it. What an amazing experience and it's rewarding on several levels. Here are the first two collaborations with more to come.

Here is a little bit about Zan:

I approach my art organically, starting with a "seed," like a shape, or a color and letting the piece grow, adding layers of texture or color, until it becomes whole. Art has been my lifelong passion. I have travelled widely, visiting museums, monuments and cathedrals, and have studied art history, architecture, and interior design, but only recently have I begun producing my own artwork. I had my first official art show in March 2022 and have been showing regularly ever since at First Friday events at the Blue Star Arts Complex in San Antonio, Texas and Las Vegas, Nevada. I am currently the Artist-in-residence at Bar Ludivine in San Antonio's Southtown Arts District and my artwork can be seen at various local galleries."
